When Lonely

I am really sick here,
Hope thou art fine there,
Seasonal cough and cold,
Makes me like an old.
Thine absence in my sickness,
Is really a pain in darkness.
In every season,

Mild ailment is the reason.

My Childish Thoughts of Rural-Urban Migration

These reasons are my personal and random thoughts. In points only, no details. In case you would like to know, let me know.
        1.       In search of better job
        2.       For more income generation
        3.       To help family or relatives
        4.       Attraction to bigger market
        5.       Better living standards in urban areas
        6.       To make new friendship with different people
        7.       Wide variety of food items
       8.       Better and available facilities
       9.       To experience the urban lives
     10.   Influenced by urban dwellers
     11.   In search of life partners
     12.   Enjoyment of sex
     13.   Notion of more happiness in urban areas
     14.   Attraction to infrastructures
These are just a temporary shed of short lived happiness.

Reason for not liking Rural Areas
     1.       Less job opportunities
     2.       Less income
     3.       Too much of manual work
     4.       No drayangs and no discotheques
     5.       Minimum facilities
     6.       Working in the field is tiring
     7.       Because of frequent woolhas and zomdoos
     8.       Unhealthy environment
     9.       Fade up of the local norms
    10.   Feeling of dissatisfaction

Actually, lives would be better without those regularly drayangs and discotheques. It has more disadvantages than advantages in my brain about it. However, I never mean to hurt the hearts of those fans of drayangs and discotheques. Your life, your wish.
Given a chance, everybody likes to live in urban centers despite the difficulties faced. Out of 100, may be 13 would chose to stay in rural areas if there is same provision. Nevertheless, our country is in higher rate of modernization. Our rural areas are developing.
All in one, the reason for Rural-Urban Migration is because of better facilities and more opportunities in Urban areas which is indeed a very illogical thinking of those migrates.

Frightful Hour

It was an odd hour of the day,
Gods and demi-gods were ragging in the sky,
Thunders were invading the universe,
And the striking flashes of flames,
Uncovered the shadow of light,
In such state, I was but in numb.
Afar, the furious wind came roaring,
And it ruled the green woods and walls,
I sensed the tiredness of dark clouds
Above the range of hills and chain of mountains.
Tears of defeated hearts,
Poured to the ground and of course,
They were taking refuge to our mother earth.
I was still inside my blankets
With much higher rate of my heart beat,
Mood of the hour was heart throbbing,
I was rather soaked in sweat,
I wished if I was not me.

Unknown

In the worst of cold season,
I rambled among the naked woods,
My journey hasn’t any reason,
It was a joyful exercise in the un-covered roots.
Pausing the way ahead, I listen’d;
I was scared of fallen leaves low rustling voice.
A quarry was hibernating. It hasten’d
To a marsh that have no noise.
I asked myself if I have disturbed its privacy,
As I know nothing about the fresh brown valley.
They must have an unknown legacy,
But sorry, I didn’t know that uncovered story.
I stand still on the shaky rock watching
With my feeble thought inside.
I felt a hard knock clinging,
Yet, it was a note of my life beside –

Mirror; The decisive image reflector

“Mirror mirror, who is the most beautiful on the wall’’, Snow Whites’ step mother would proudly ask to her speaking mirror hoping for the best response from it.

Rather the mirror would softly reply, ‘You are the most beautiful but Snow white is more beautiful than you’. This unexpected response would injure the heart of devil woman who at last got so infuriated and broke the speaking mirror into pieces. She did everything to murder Snow White but the true and virtuous beauty of Snow White defeated the devil and fabricated pretentious woman.

How would you react if your mirror says, ‘You are beautiful but someone is more beautiful than you’, or if it say, ‘You will not get the thing that you deserve’. Will you react like the devil woman of the story ‘’Snow White’’?

Do you ask your mirror about your beauty or smartness? Or you forget to ask because you think you are the most beautiful or smart? I don’t know if you are rather worried about your external fabricated appearances after looking into the mirror. Or else you might be worried that others comments on your physical looks or I don’t know. How can’t be your external appearance looks beautiful or smart when you paint and dent so much? These ingredients aren’t self made. These are all imported. Yet you depend too much on it make your external fabrication. In that way, you must be spending more that 5% of you money to buy those so called fabricated ingredients.

And if your mirror speaks, it would definitely say, ‘You are the most beautiful or smart’. But it would be frustrating for you if it say, ‘Someone is more beautiful than you’. It’s glad that our mirrors do not speak. Otherwise, there would be no peace and happiness in this world.

If you are a female, you might be preparing more than twenty minutes just to look into the mirror for few seconds. Or I don’t know if you take longer time. And if you are male, I assume that you take little less than female to look into the mirror. But I really don’t know because modernization we can’t underestimate. In that way, you must be spending more than 2% of total time of the day. If you are students you will be late to most of your studies and classes. If you are office goers, you will be late. Mirror is in any ways, a time consumer.
Everything seen inside the mirror will be just opposite of the original. Your right will be seen in left and vice versa.
So, when you see your pretty image inside the mirror, you should know that it’s a fake and deceiving image of you. Even your color will be different.  In some mirror you will see your brighter appearance while in some mirror you will see your darker image. In that way, mirrors really deceives. But I am pretty sure you can’t live without a mirror. You would even argue that mirror is one of your goenchey but I never meant to against your everyday duty; your duty to look in to the mirror before you go out of you room and as soon as you reach in your room.

I am just sharing my thoughts about mirror which is indeed useful if its purpose is known.
In the words of Shakespeare about beauty, he said ‘’Virtuous is Beauty’’, and those fabricated beauties are like a wolf in lamb’s cloth.

Revealing my Diary

Sometimes it is good to share some of your notes in your diary. I don’t know if my notes are worth sharing to you all. If I keep printed on the papers, it get disappear and can be found nowhere. So I decided to put in my own website so that in future when I look back, I can know how I have been. I never meant to create mess and misunderstandings. No hurt and harsh feelings to anybody, please.

Thursday 28 June 2012
Farewell Party 19th Batch passes outs in front of CNR academic block.
Friday 29 June 2012
Bye bye CNR. Thanks you lecturers for your immeasurable efforts in brightening our knowledge. You all will remain forever in my head and heart. My two years stay at CNR was so amazing and awesome though I didn’t contribute much to the college. Yet I look forward to return back to my two years home. Thanks for everything. Thanks to each and every one of CNR family.
Wednesday 4 July 2012
Interview for CNR graduates at HRD office, Thimphu.
Monday 9 July 2012
Interview result was declared on the MoAF Ministrys’ website. There was only 18 seats (vacancy) announced for the agriculture graduates. I was 19th of 26 students appeared in interview. I felt so helpless, yet I didn’t lose my hope. I knew I am such a brainless guy.
Thursday 12 July 2012
We (who didn’t meet the required vacancies) went to HRD Office to request job vacancy but we could not meet our concerned sector heads. They were attending meeting. After waiting for few hours an office assistant of Agriculture sector told us to come next day.
Friday 13 July 2013
It was a placement day for CNR graduates. All those who have qualified were placed in various dzongkhags and research centers’. Some were happy and some were disappointed. We were even shocked to see some crying under the cypress tree for which she didn’t get the place of her choice. But later on she got the placement of her choice. At the time of placement also, Chief HRO was not there. When all of CNR graduates got placement, we (8 of us) were left without any message from the concern sector on this day. Rather we were told by Office Assistant to wait for the arrival of Chief HRO. We understood his helplessness to us but he never pretend to be helpless though.
Monday 16 July 2012
We went to HRD Office and met with Chief HRO. She wasn’t in good mood that day. We went inside her office. She asked about our problems. We told her that if Department of Agriculture could arrange us vacancies we would be grateful. She said that she is helpless in that case. She also said that other graduates do not get job. When she said this, what comes to my mind was Michael Faraday who invented electric motor. Michael Faraday’s electric motor was once rejected by the British Prime Minister Gladstone. I didn’t know that if she had meant that we have to search job ourselves. Soon after, BAFRA Director came to Chief HRO’s office. After listening to our situation, he said that he has announced the vacancy. He said that he has submitted the vacancy slots to the HRD Section. But it wasn’t announced in the ministry’s website. He assures us that he will take few of us in BAFRA. We felt bit excited though it was just a verbal conversation. Chief HRO told us that she will anyways try to help us.
Friday 20 July 2012
As a follow up, we again went to HRD Office. We could not meet HRO. Office Assistant was helpless. Most of the time, he said that Agriculture Sector is conducting meeting about vacancy for us. I don’t know if he had convinced us. He said that they are finding the vacancies.
Wednesday 25 July 2012
We went to HRD Office with great expectations because Chief HRO was appointed as Dzongda. We thought that she would have arranged vacancies for us. When we reached at HRD Office, there was only Office Assistant. He said that they have arranged the vacancy and they will be conducting interview on August second. That was good news for us.
Wednesday 1 August 2012
The news of orientation on 3rd August worried us because we didn’t get placement while others got. So we decided to go to HRD Office. We met with newly arrived Agriculture HRO who was also an officiating Chief HRO. We told him that we were left without any placement. He said that the Department will help us to find vacancies for us. He also assured us vacancies in Agriculture Department only. He told us to attend Orientation Programme at YDF Hall on 3rd August.
Friday 3 August 2012
Orientation Programme was held at YDF. At orientation all most all the sector heads of MoAF family was present.  Minister of MoAF was the Chief Guest during orientation programme. He congratulated the gathering for getting employed in the government service. He highlighted on the importance of roles and responsibilities of extensions in nation building. He said that all the CNR Graduates will be enrolled in the service under MoAF.  He also said that extensions should not complain about the inadequate facilities in the geogs. He inspired us by narrating a story about the three glasses in which 1st glass filled with water and the 2nd half filled. The last one was empty. He said that we should rather choose the last and second one. He advised us to serve our nation with utmost dedication with sincerity and honesty.
Monday 6 August 2012
After Orientation, we went to HRD Office as a follow up because Minister of MoAF has assured us to provide job. We met Agri HRO and he said that they have to follow the RCSE rules. Before placement, he said that they will conduct an interview. Our Interview was scheduled on Thursday 9th August.
Thursday 9 August 2012
As scheduled, eight of us did interview at HRD Office. After the interview, HRO said that they will place us at different Dzongkhags at the earliest. We felt relaxed after interview and felt excited.
Monday 13 August 2012
We were given our choice to select the dzongkhags. I chose Mongar with many reasons. Officiating Chief HRO congratulated us for getting job. He advised us to serve our nation sincerely and faithfully.
This is the day I can remember throughout my life because another life in one life begins as I got placement. We were so excited and happy because we were waiting for this moment. We felt like we have reached our goals after striving so many years in schools. Parents, brothers, sisters, relatives, neighbors and all, thanks so much for your kind and helpful support that you have given to me in achieving my goal.
Wednesday 22 August 2012
I officially joined the service in Mongar Dzongkhag Agriculture Office on this day. On the very first day, I got an opportunity to attend a meeting organized by RDC – Wengkhar at DVH. I was quite surprise to see some known seniors working under the Dzonkhag Agriculture Department. Even then, I wasn’t that confident in such gatherings.
At the opening of meeting, Program Director of RDC-Wengkhar was highlighting about the up-scaling of vegetable production and horticulture crops. He said that rupee crunch hasn’t affected the eastern dzongkhags much though. ‘’But we have to learn from it and we have to be cautious”, he said. He was also stressing the importance and the need of extension policy. Still he speaks about the need and importance of it. And I know he will speak about it, because he has reasons and facts about extensions. I also wonder why such policies are not there. How can there be no such policies for those who are staying very near to the heads and hearts of farmers? Why can’t government do that? If there are no such policies as a guiding and supporting backbone for extensions, I personally don’t see a safe future for extensions. As the mandates of extension doesn’t confine in few arena, their daily works are likely to become vulnerable. Therefore, the need of ‘’Extension Policy’’ is of paramount important. It should be the first priority of our next government.
Thursday 23 August 2012
I went inside Dzongdas’ chamber along with Dzongkhag Agriculture Officer (DAO) to seek advice before I go to the geog. I introduced to him and with jokingly he asked me if I am from eastern Bhutan. He said that Sharchokp parents will not give the name Chungku to their children. It will be only west parents, he said. He advised me to serve our farmers in geogs sincerely and faithfully. He told me the importance of roles and responsibilities of geog extensions. He advised me not to get drowned in arra in villages.
From there, I gained confidence in serving our farmers in geogs. That was how I began my new life.

Hereafter, I owe to serve my country, king and people with sincerity, integrity, honesty, transparency, accountability and without corruption. I also owe to serve with fair and justice with utmost dedication in the fulfillment of our peoples’ wishes. We are bestowed with happiness. Let us hold this jewel in our hands forever. All we need is collaboration and cooperation.
Ladies and gentlemen, thanks for reading my short unworthy diary. Have blissful days ahead.

Happy Spring

Every spring it blossoms a new,
Season of the gloomy months
Reclaim its strength and breaths again.
The gentle breeze came lowly,
The time I’ve enjoy’d the beautiness of nature,
More than ever, I cherish’d its glory
Clouds kissing the earth and sky,
Vanished behind the range of mountains,
To it I would bid a month good-bye.
In my mind every moment remains green,
The blossom flowers on the forest edge,
Were dancing with the breeze lightly,
So lovely to be loved by every age,
I saw what I saw but more brightly.
Noble nature of the spring days,
Hath not pass’d in to nothingness,
Birdies came from many ways,
I sight an increase’d loveliness.
Being too happy in such happiness,
I lost both love and loathing.
Spring welcomes the guest of jungle,
It is an awesome season of the year
Where forest dwellers gets enough provisions,
For which nothing can supplant.
Dull would be to pause in spring
To make an end in such sweetness,
So lovely lay the land –all green around
To prepare for life’s walk
In which every foot that would run
To greet another spring.

One Reason for Divorce

Understanding Misunderstanding is a better Understanding.

In the words of 1st US President Gorge Washington, "Never underestimate the modernization".
In ancient times before the coin and paper money, humans have exchanged goods and goods. With the introduction of coin money, people exchanged goods and coin money.
After the invention of Paper money, people exchanged everything with it. Wives exchanging husband & children with it. Husbands exchanging wives with it. So, if somebody say, "Money is everything", I don want to argue. Human Civilization is a continuous process and I guess.
These things happen because before their real marriage when they are in love they only express gentleness, kindness, patience and so on to earn the love. But the dictionaries meanings of love have changed now. The word love has its meaning in every individual. Sometimes it is riskily used and implied by those vulnerable hearts driven by those fake and untrue expressions jeopardizing the self lives. Young hearts avoid expressing the true inborn nature fearing that they will loose their love ones, so they pretend to be so generous and attached.
But once you are in commitment, that fake generosity, fake kindness, pretended patience and so on fades and uncovers the true color. Then true character and nature will be expressed by each other. If a partner like s/he will be glad. But if s/he does not like, s/he would say, “Lately you are acting differently”.  If your partner says so, its not a sign of strong commitment. You must solve the problems.
Therefore, before your true relationship begins, when you are in love, its better to express your true nature and character. You should make your partner understand you and you need to understand others also. You have to put in other shoes.  However, different people, born on different dates and different places will definitely have different opinions driven by the formless, shapeless, colorless mind will be different. Its you who have to be vigilance about yourself.
